Introductory Consultation

I offer a free 45 minute introductory consultation via Zoom or by phone. This is an opportunity for us to explore how I can help you on your parenting journey. I will share some resources with you specific to your topic of concern. You may identify issues which would be better served by mental health therapy rather than coaching. If so, I will refer you a therapist in your area to address your child’s and family’s needs. There is no pressure to set up future sessions. This is my gift to you. It is part of my ethos as a social worker to share information and resources.

Free

45 minutes

Includes 90 minutes, via Zoom or in person, to gather information about your family’s story. I will send a follow up email with a summary of our time together, goals you have identified, and resources specific to your family’s needs. I think of the follow-up email as a potential road map for us to travel on together, specific to your unique parenting journey.

Ongoing Sessions

Includes 60 minutes, via Zoom or in person, and a follow-up email. Our time together will be tailored to the specific goals and needs that you identify for your family. After each session you will receive a follow up email with resources/scripts/video/activities to address the concerns you bring to session.

These sessions can be scheduled every week, every other week, or as needed. We will work to find a time that works best for you. Some parents find it helpful to start off with weekly sessions for several weeks at a time. This regularity of contact allows us to establish rapport, gather information, and learn and implement new strategies.
